AAFAME Committee Volunteers are Needed! 
AAFAME is a volunteer based organization which means we are always in need of help from our members.

Brief committee descriptions listed below:
Membership
Promotes the association to new engineer and vendor members. Invite potential new members to luncheons.
Training
Assist with scheduling of classes and topics for our engineers. Coordinate speakers, surveys & agendas.
Chili Slam
Help organize our annual volleyball & chili cook-off event. Help sell vendor sponsors and recruit teams.
Luncheon Registration
Assist with registration of @ each monthly luncheon. Need volunteers for each month.
Luncheon Programs
Assist with scheduling speakers & topics for the monthly luncheons. Coordinate surveys for topics.
Community Services
Assist with projects related to community services, in the past we have conducted races to raise money for charity, we have done makeovers including an energy makeover in 2008. New project to be researched for 2009.
EXPO
This committee is responsible for planning the details for the yearly Vendor to Engineer networking event.
Green Committee
One of our newest committees that we have who will be in charge of communicating green technology to our members by way of newsletter, website, programs, etc
Sponsorship
Assist the association with email, directory, luncheon and chili slam sponsorship sales.
Other information regarding committee meetings:
We schedule committee meetings monthly to quarterly during working hours for approximately one hour (frequency depends on the needs of each committee).
If you are interested in receiving notification of these meetings please fill out the form below and note above which committee you are interested in.
With everyone’s help each person will not be responsible for tremendous workloads….just a few hours a month with a few phone calls and email correspondence in between.
Vendors and Engineers both are encouraged to volunteer.
Must be a member of AAFAME to volunteer for a committee.
