Title:
"LEED Version3 – The new nuts and bolts of going green"
Description:
The US Green Building Council has made big changes this year to the LEED building rating system (dubbed LEED 2009) and the accreditation process for professionals, and you have questions:
-When can I receive LEED Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance Certification, and what requirements have changed since v2.2?
-What is a Green Associate credential, and how is it different from the other designations?
-Do I have to take the test again to maintain my AP credential?
-Is it worth the cost to certify my building, or can I just follow the guidelines and get the same result?
The speaker will give a high-level overview of the changes from LEED v2.2 to LEED v3, address the benefits of building green, and will give places to go with future questions about USGBC programs
